Event Description: People’s Festival of Innovation 2024, Affordable, Inclusive and Accessible Innovations Impacting Society

Addressing local and global challenges

The People’s Festival of Innovation 2024 (PFoI 2024), the third edition is organised in collaboration with C-CAMP, Bengaluru and GIAN, Ahmedabad. PFoI 2024 is a platform catalyses the convergence of deep-tech and grassroots innovations across India, focusing on affordable and inclusive solutions for unmet social needs. The Festival brings together innovators, startups, industry leaders, entrepreneurs, domain professionals, academicians, investors and policymakers to discuss the success stories, challenges and future trends for taking these innovations forward to address local and global challenges.  

The Festival has been curated and mentored by Dr. Renu Swarup, former Secretary to Govt. of India, Department of Biotechnology, Min. of Science & Technology; Prof. Anil Gupta, Founder, Honey Bee Network, SRISTI, GIAN & NIF; and Visiting Faculty, IIMA & Niper-A, Academy Professor, ACSIR; Dr. Swati Basu, former Scientific Secretary; and Dr. Taslimarif Saiyed, CEO and Director, CCAMP, Bengaluru
