Using almost no dialogue, the film follows a number of residents (both human and animal) of a small rural community in Hungary.It begins with an old man who has hiccups, in front of his house. He observes the daily habits of the villagers, and the viewer is shown many sequences about different events.The village seems idyllic, but there are mysterious things happening.
