Event Description: “Mere SPIC MACAY Din” by Ashok Jamnani. 

Starting out as a volunteer for SPIC MACAY in Hoshangabad, in Madhya Pradesh, Ashok Jamnani remained very active with the organisation for over twenty-five years. Along with narrating his experiences as a volunteer, his memoir is an in-depth study of Indian culture, underlining the changes that have taken place in the art world after economic liberalisation. A documentation of one of the most important cultural movements of our times, covering the depth of the Indian art world and connecting the diversity of Indian culture with the youth.
