Event Description: EMPOWERMENT Art & Culture NGO and Academy of Art and Design present illumination '23, A Group Art Exhibition.

Curator & Mentor Kumar Vikas Saxena

The Academy of Art and Design is an educational institution that was established in 2002 by Dr M K Saxena, a recipient of the National Award from the Honorable President of India. With an unwavering belief that every individual is born with artistic flair, the Academy provides a nurturing platform to unleash one’s creativity under the guidance of highly experienced and talented artists and mentors. It ensures that every individual gets the attention, motivation and inspiration they need to develop and improve their artistic skills.

Illumination 23, is a powerful metaphor for the role that art plays in our lives. Art has the power to illuminate our thoughts and emotions, guiding us to look at things in a different light. It can broaden our perspective, inspire us, and bring people from different backgrounds together. Under the mentorship of Mr Kumar Vikas Saxena, a passionate painter and President of Empowerment, this exhibition explores a variety of themes from Contemporary Art forms to Miniature and Folk arts.

This exhibition brings together the works of a diverse range of artists, who have explored themes such as identity, culture, nature, and spirituality. Each artist brings their unique perspective, telling a story through their art that reflects their personal experiences, beliefs, and emotions. The variety of mediums used highlights the versatility of these artists and their willingness to explore new creative platforms. We, therefore, present artworks of artists which lead the way by continually coming up with new and exciting forms, techniques and imagery that may delight, or shock at Stainless Art Gallery on 21rst April,2023..The exhibition will be a delight to the artists and provides a platform to explore different art forms through each other’s art.
