Event Description: The String Masters – Tracing the Evolution of Form

A veena-piano conversation by Dr. Jayanthi Kumaresh and Anil Srinivasan

Through this collaboration, Anil Srinivasan and Dr. JayanthiKumaresh aim to explore the design of two evolving instruments – the piano and the veena. The design of sound, the design of music in bringing out the best of genres together and the design history in the way the artistic and literary traditions of the instruments are interpreted will be the central theme of the performance
