Event Description : Remembering Sir Edmund Hillary. Mountaineer Peter Hillary, on the occasion of the 100th birth anniversary of his father Sir Edmund Hillary, will introduce and screen the film ‘From the Ocean to the Sky’ on the 1977 expedition, led by Sir Edmund Hillary, in which three jet boats traveled upriver from the mouth of the Ganges delta in the Bay of Bengal and uphill to near the source of the Ganga.
