Event Description : TALK "Adventures in Ladakh: On Land and Water" Illustrated lecture by Ranjan Pal, adventurer and intrepid traveler

The lecture presents Ranjan Pal’s travels by water and land in Zanskar region of Ladakh. A whitewater rafting trip down the Zanskar river, considered one of the most spectacular white-water experiences, is the crowning achievement in any serious paddler’s list of river descents. The lecture will also focus on a five-day trek from Tso Kar to Tso Moriri; bookended by these two beautiful lakes, the trek traverses the high Changthang plateau and crosses four mountain passes all above 5000 metres.
