Event Description :
Seminar on the Spanish work La Vida es Sueño by Pedro Calderón de la Barca, and its Indian roots.

Is reality a dream? Although apparently oblivious to everyday life, this is the central question of Pedro Calderón de la Barca’s La Vida es Sueño, which means Life is a Dream. Indian and Spanish scholars on the panel will discuss about ‘Maya’, the world as illusion, and the Indian roots of this important theatrical work.
