Event Description : MUSIC "Working Title" Jazz Concert by David Soin Tappeser’s trio

Working Title is David Soin Tappeser's trio. Embracing the intimacy and flexibility of the trio format, their game is highly interactive, collaborative, improvisation-driven - and unafraid to stray beyond tradition. David's fresh and playful arrangements of (un-)known standards are full of surprises, interweaving hip-hop-grooves with Ethiopian harmonies, folk tunes with reggaeton. Ultimately the trio’s sounds emanate beyond genre or specificity - like a triangle: universal, each side equal and open to interpretation.

Theo Malka-wishart : Bass

Having studied closely with bass aficionado Yaron Stavi, he brings a deep and historical understanding of his instrument to his playing. In addition to his own jazz projects, he hosts an experimental weekly jam session in london’s vibrant east end and is part of a number of different ensembles including renowned Klezmer group Popurri and busy London ska outfit Skaboro.

Collaboration : Embassy of Mexico
