Vipin Rai, better known by his stage name DJ VIP.in, is a Delhi based DJ who has been spinning music since 2006. He has learned the ‘tricks of the trade’ from some of the best in the industry and through their mentorship, has had the good fortune to perform at every major city of the Country. He is Best known for blending different genres into his own style and has an uncanny ability to read the needs of any dance floor. Having grown up with various genres of music, house, hip hop, rock n roll, pop and Trap/EDM to name a few, he has developed a deep understanding of various styles of music that make his sets versatile and entertaining. There is no mood for which he hasn’t got a song, You name it, he’s got it. His motto is simple – ‘Make the World Dance’
Dj Paddy + Klose at Hauz Khas Social
Klose is the moniker of Delhi based DJ/Producer Rajat. He has been learning and perfecting his craft since 2013. An avid fan of various musical styles, in particular, Nu Disco, Tech House & Hip Hop, Klose has developed the ability to keep his sets fresh and with a great variety and selection of tunes, to keep the floor guessing for and wanting more. Klose is an open format DJ who has had the fortune to perform at several clubs in the national capital. Hi uncanny ability to keep the vibe flowing through the dance floor has earned him the support slots for some of the biggest in the country. Klose is constantly building his repertoire and skills to ensure that the vibe is always good at every party he’s a part of.
Dj Skip + Raveboy at Nehru Place Social
Raveboy has embodied the essence of the DJ into his soul. He mixes fluidly and energetically with an obsession and passion that makes one understand the meaning of his slogan “It’s a wave of Raveboy”. Delivering performances that create a wave and strengthen the nightclub scene is his art. Growing up in the club industry gives him a unique insight to providing an experience for different kind of people will remember for a lifetime. He is well versed in genres like Trap, HipHop, R&B, Electro House, Dubstep. He also opened for various famous artists like DJ Kerano, DJ B.R.E.E.D, MOJO JOJO, DJ SA, DJ URI and DJ Skip. As the wave of Raveboy has just started he has an experience of working with different clubs like Openhouse Cafe (CP), Ware House Cafe (Cp), Dos Burrows (Cyber Hub), Social (Def. Colony & Odeon) and currently he is making his impression at Social Nehru Place as a Resident DJ.
Skip’s sound is versatile and he is not afraid to experiment, refusing to be bound by the confines of one sound. That is the reason he was picked as the national winner of the Red Bull Thre3Style contest in 2011 and 2012 and went onto Chicago to represent India. Playing at some of the biggest festivals in the country including Sunburn – India’s biggest dance festival. Skip has also left his mark on Go:Madras, Fete de la Music (Chennai), and some of the biggest venues in the country.
He is also part of a live electronic act, BLaNK that won the MTV Ultimate DJ Championship in 2010, which took them to UK’s leading festival, Bestival in 2011 to play for a 55,000 strong audience. In addition to this, DJ Skip also dedicates his time to teaching his craft to young, aspiring talent by conducting DJ workshops at colleges and acting as guest lecturer at SAE (School of Audio Engineering) Institute, Chennai. He is also the co-founder of The Exodus DJ Academy, Chennai, and The Urbanatic School of DJs, Delhi. A blend of technical proficiency, energy and innovation – DJ Skip is a one-man army!
Amalgamates + DJ Eddixo at Cyber Hub Social
Ajit Sarathi, born in Himachal and raised in the city of New Delhi, began his career at an early age as a dj under the influences of old school dance musicians and groups from the late 90’s. His strong candidature as an outstanding dj stems from a blend of his professional experiences and his training in Indian classical music. He is considered by many as the man who contributes his special touch to every party by a mixture of charisma and his particular choice of music. Ajit grew up to become one of the dj’s slowly introducing music and tracks soon to be known as Progressive house, Tech and Techno. His stint as a resident dj from 2003-08 gave him the ideal platform to experiment with electronic sounds and create new musical styles. Inspired by the Global Underground sounds, he is serving a stunning mix somewhere between his very own progressive style and the modern minimal techno making his sets unique and himself a guarantor for a dancing crowd. Dedication, passion, and natural born skills have established Ajit as a sovereign tastemaker within the electronic music community. Together with a sound that is best described as a sophisticated blend of nasty jacking house and techno mutations, packed with twists and turns to assure complete floor annihilation, it is this refined musical vision that have made him one of the most sought after artists in his genre and a preferred pick for numerous dance promoters . His energetic, upfront, “no holds barred” style makes progressive tech, techno, and break beat melt into one. He does not like to be put into one distinct category, rather he considers himself to be an underground dance music performer.
