The screening will be followed by a discussion 

It was the first winner from south India of the National Award for Best Feature Film and remains an enduring example of a pan-India cinematic collaboration – although drawn primarily from the Malayalam film industry, the team also featured Hrishikesh Mukherjee as an editor, Salil Chowdhury as music director and Manna Dey as a singer.
