Event Description : Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and the resulting risk for ineffective treatment of infections is a serious and growing public health threat.  Join us at the American Center for a talk on “Combating Superbugs: Together Against Antimicrobial Resistance”.

The talk, featuring Dr. Preetha Rajaraman, Health Attaché,  U.S. Department Health and Human Services (HHS) and Professor Kevin Outterson , Executive Director of the Combating Antibiotic-Resistant Bacteria Biopharmaceutical Accelerator (CARB-X), will highlight U.S. Government and other initiatives taken to address AMR.
