Details : Arts have been wrongly perceived, and hence terribly neglected in our education system. Especially, in the Government schools of Delhi.
Project Anjuman aims to give the children in these schools an opportunity to experience the wonderful world of creative and performing arts through music, dance, theatre, singing, photography, poetry, film-making, painting... and so on.
What started as a Pilot Project in just 11 schools four months ago has found immediate Government recognition and support. And now, it is being scaled up to over 300 schools. And that means reaching over 2 lakh children.
Project Anjuman is also a platform for young and talented artists. There are no big names here and the platform is for the budding artists to learn and share their art-form.
