23rd April : The Pagan King / Nameja gredzens (Latvian/2018/150mins)

13th century Northern Europe. Last pagan settlement near the Baltic Sea. The evil and cynical warrior crusader Max von Buxhoveden is trying to destroy the pagan beliefs of the people by spreading lies and fostering dissent. Old king of the last free pagan lands is on his deathbed and without an heir to take his place. Unexpectedly, with his dying breath the King passes on his ring to his nephew Namejs. Namejs, who grew up amongst pagan priests and studied ancient wisdoms, now has to defend his people.

Elsa falls in love with a quadriplegic genius, her patient Nicola, whose mansion hides a secret – Nicola is obsessed with the creation of an artificial intellect. His creation, named Anna, stops at nothing to keep her master just for herself. 

25th April : Return of Sergeant Lapins (Latvian/2010/93mins) 
Dir. Gatis Å mits. 
The film is set in Riga, where Sergeant Krists Lapins returns from an international mission and moves into a remote flat in the city's Agenskalns district. However, although expecting to live a peaceful life, Krists finds himself involved in several adventures. 

26th April : Defenders of Riga (Latvian/2007/118mins) 
Dir. Aigars Grauba. 
It is the summer of 1915 and Martins and Elza are about to get married. But imminent war threat turns everything around. The film dramatizes November 11, 1919 - a crucial day in the battle for Latvian Independence. 

27th April : Dream Team 1935/ Sap?u komanda 1935 (Latvian/2012/120mins) 
Dir. Aigars Grauba. 
Geneva 1935. The first European Basketball Championship is about to take place. Latvian Coach Baumanis is convinced that he can assemble a team for Geneva. The film dramatizes the journey of Latvia towards becoming the first European basketball champions in 1935.
