Event Description : DOC FILMS by The Himalayan Club 

Jungwa- The Broken Balance (Ladakhi with Eng subtitles/2012/52mins) 
Dir. Stanzin Dorjai Gya and Christiane Mordelet. 
Jungwa explores the relationship between Buddhism and Environment in the wake of the 2010 flash floods that devastated parts of Ladakh. 

The Shepherdess of the Glaciers (Ladakhi with Eng subtitles/2015/74mins) 
Dirs. Stanzin Dorjai Gya and Christiane Mordelet. 
In Ladakh at altitudes above 12,000 ft, a lone woman takes us on a compassionate journey with her family of Pashmina goats. The screenings will be followed by an interactive session with the director, Stanzin Dorjai Gya.
