Event Description : EXHIBITION "Inorganic" a solo show of artworks by Aashish Moga

INORGANIC is an attempt to enquire the bond and engagement between natural and manmade creations. It’s an amalgamation of the artist’s inner thoughts responding to the outer world where he carefully observes and reflects how things like logic designs, integrated circuits, microprocessors, chips and controllers are transforming into both physical and emotional front of the mankind. Simultaneously interrogating the consequences caused by manipulating, controlling, interfering and transforming processes which often result in transformation or complete destruction. The narrator examines the
entanglement between natural & manmade things that accepts these changes as integral part of life, leaving behind the dilemma what actually comprises of what we strongly claim as “manmade’’.

AASHISH MOGA is an independent self-taught art practitioner based in Delhi.
His recent solo exhibitions were held at India Habitat Centre (Integration of innovations, 2015) and AIFACS (Avalanche::Avatar:00:00, 2016). He has been the recipient of the 88th AIFACS award 2015. He has also worked with Galerie Danniel Besseiche, Paris, France in India Art Fair. His trajectory proves his versatility from being an engineer to stepping in to the contemporary art world with an interest in abstractionism, bodies, meditation, contemplation and technology via exploration in different mediums.
