Event Description : Facets of Diamonds will express spiritual theories in “Diamond Soul”
Exhibition of latest paintings by well known artist Mr. Yogendra Sethi. Mr. Sethi's latest collection "Diamond Soul" for the first time expresses in impressionist technique if modern art the spiritual principles described in the ancient Indian texts. 

Yogendra, known for his inimitable style of painting using diamond facets like prismatic forms to depict the exhibits of nature. He chooses unique fantasy for his world which has matchless amalgamation of mountains and valleys with human forms indulged in various casual activities to give messages of life.
Mr. Sethi's distinctive brushing technique and selection of subject matter has won him large no. of fans, especially in America his landscapes with human touch are constantly wowed by art critics and art lovers alike. That is the reason that America's most prestigious New Artist Club has honoured him with their honorary membership since last several years. Mr. Sethi's painting exhibitions have been successfully organized in different regions of the U.S.A. and India. His paintings can be seen in many important art galleries of U.S., India, Singapore etc. consistently.

Yogendra Sethi's latest series, "Diamond Soul" is an unique experiment in itself. Mr. Sethi
says impressionist painters usually choose very common things or activities in open composition as subject of their creation. But I realized that even spiritual notions can be expressed well by this technique. . Further, I found many illustrations and realistic paintings based on Jain philosophy but could not find any serious attempt to express the same with modern art. Once I completed few paintings of this series and showed them to few art lovers, I was astonished to learn that art lovers from foreign lands not only enjoyed the art but also their depiction of these paintings was very close to my thought. It proved in mind once again that basic principles of all religions are the same; just they are expressed in different words. The theory mentioned in the ancient scriptures is beyond the limits of time or region and is useful for whole Universe and all humanity. The same thing applies to almost all religions granths of any religion on earth.

“Diamond Soul” will be inaugurated by Union Power Minister Mr. Jyotiraditya Scindia
at Prestigious India Habitat Centre art gallery, Lodhi road, New Delhi's at 11 A.M. on 14 th January 2013. Art lovers can watch the exhibition till 19th January. CMD of Hyatt Hotel Group Padmashri Sushil Gupta and Vice Chancellor of Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeeth Prof. Mr. Radhavallabha Tripathi will be guests of honour of the function. Few more functions will be organised during six-day Painting exhibition which see Padma Bhushan and Jnanpith award winner for Sanskrit literature Prof. Satyavrat Shastri, film actor and MP Shri Raj Babbar, many luminaries of the art world and industry joining as guests of honour incorporation of art and spirituality seen in “Diamond Soul” has been appreciated by many saints including Acharya Shri Viveksagr Ji Maharaj, saints, Muni Sh. Chinmaysagrji Maharaj etc. Also, many dignitaries like Mr. Nirmal Jain Sethi , President Digamber Jain Mahasabha has found this initiative as beginning of new chapter.
