A lecture on Ananda K. Coomaraswamy by noted Hindi Author Shri Nirmal Kumar.
Nirmal Kumar is a widely acclaimed Indian novelist with over 24 Titles in Hindi and 8 in English Language. His poetic works have been heralded by the great Harivansha Rai Bacchan. Hindi novelist Jainendra marks Nirmal's writings as a Boon to Hindi. Published by some of the Greatest Indian publishing houses, Nirmal is poignant in his prose and bestselling works that are Epic Drama, Period Plays, Philosophy, Historical fiction, Love Stories and Shorts. Nirmal's verse transcends National boundaries capturing the Human spirit in its myriad intricacies in masterful poetry, alongwith it dispensing the sweet essence of Indianess in its freshness and rendition. 

Ananda K. Coomaraswamy is this century's pioneering art historian, metaphysician and interpreter of Indian culture to the West. Contemporary Indian writer Nirmal Kumar is a one-man bridge between the east and the west today. So do the West and East differ? Are they two halves of human knowledge waiting to fuse and express eternal truth collectively. To walk that enigmatic garden, Nirmal Kumar speaks of Coomaraswamy the "groundbreaking theorist" at the IGNCA. He paints a canvass of a developing single mind, not two opposite currents that are the West & East. For the Hindi heartland, Ananda Coomaraswamy has been a enigma, to bring to life 20th Century's greatest art historian.
