Followed by Jugalbandi by Rohit Prasanna (Flute) & Soumitra Thakaur (Sitar)
Ujwal Nagar, Hindustani Classical Vocalist - Gifted with a sensational voice, Ujwal Nagar is a singer par excellence in his generation. He is receiving training in classical music from his mother, Guru Urmila Nagar, a renowned Kathak exponent and Akademi Awardee. He has also received intensive training from Late Ustad Bashir Ahmad Khan of Sikar and is also taking guidance from Pandit Somnath Mardur and Pandit Shriram Umdekar.
About Sangeet Ganga : Sangeet Ganga was established in 1975 by renowned artists Pandit Hari Prasad Chaurasia, Mrs Urmila Nagar and Ms Sulochana Brahaspati to popularize and propagate classical music among the youth. The organization primarily aims at providing a platform to the upcoming young artists so that they can reach out to the music lovers of the country.
Sangeet Ganga has organized many prestigious music and dance festivals, lec-dems, seminars and workshops in the past to bring out the finer nuances of our rich music and dance traditions.
Sangeet Ganga team comprises of a bunch of young people Vishal Nagar,
Neetu Nagar, Puja Kumari, Jai Maurya, Faiyaz Ali, Anshi Malik and Varnika Yadav who are driven by their passion for Indian classical music and dance and their vision is to make Sangeet Ganga a platform for upcoming young musicians to showcase their talent and also preserve our rich cultural heritage and traditional values.
