Event Description: India Islamic Centre, in collaboration with hamari Urdu mohabbat, invites you to Nazrana-e-Khusrau, a soulful tribute to the timeless genius of Amir Khusrau — poet, mystic, and architect of Hindustani culture. Featured Artists: Sayeda Hamid – Accomplished narrator and scholar. Her work on Sufi literature brings historical depth and emotional nuance to Khusrau’s verses. Lokesh Jain – Distinguished narrator and Actor . He contextualizes Khusrau’s role in shaping India’s language, music, and composite traditions. Rene Singh – Renowned vocalist celebrated for her soulful renditions of Sufi kalaam. Her music bridges classical rigour with the devotional spirit of Khusrau’s poetry. The evening will weave narration, musical performance, and reflection to celebrate Khusrau’s legacy as a poet of love, devotion, and cultural synthesis. His work in Persian and Hindavi continues to define South Asian music, language, and spiritual expression. “Khusrau gave us a language that belongs to everyone,” says a spokesperson from Hamari Urdu mohabbat. “Nazrana-e-Khusrau is our offering to that shared heritage.” About the Organisers: The India Islamic Cultural Centre is a premier cultural and intellectual hub in New Delhi.
