Note: Visitors are requested not to bring water bottles, briefcases, handbags/ladies' purses, cameras, radios/transistors, boxes, umbrellas, eatables etc. Such articles, if any, must be deposited at the entry point. Arrangements of drinking water, toilets, first aid / medical facilities, restrooms for senior citizens, women and children are provided at various places along the public route.

Event Description: Spread over a vast expanse of 15 acres, Amrit Udyan has often been portrayed, and deservedly so, as the soul of the Rashtrapati Bhavan.

About Amrit Udyan: This garden has 250 types of roses which make it the best rose garden in the world. The evergreen fragrant shrubs and creepers which are planted along the terrace wall are Raat ki Rani, Mogra, Motiy, Juhi, Bignenia Vanista ( Golden Showers ), Gardenia, Rhyncospermum, Petrea, Harshringar, Bougainvillea, Adenocalymma( Garlic Creeper ), Hedera Helix, Climbing Roses, Tecoma Grandiflora, The Rangoon Creeper.
