THE AHIMSA CONCERT
"Hindi", as Gandhi said, "is integral to Urdu as Urdu is integral to Hindi."
In this performance, we spread Gandhi's message through poetry and music. The beauty of India's pluralism is reflected here in the conflation of Hindi-Urdu, Nazm, Kavita and the Ghazal.
Its unique feature is a medley of the kalaam of poets like Faiz, Seemab Akbarabadi, Vamiq Jaunpuri, Tilok Chand Mehroom, Shameem Karhani, Kavi Pradip and Ali Sardar Jafri.
The performance is crowned with masters like Kabir, Bhulle Shah and Amir Khusrau. This mosaic reflects Gandhi's dream where many cultures co-exist and embrace each other.
A tribute to Mahatma Gandhi through a dramatic presentation in poetry and music Featuring Lokesh Jain, Raza Haider and Pakhi Jain.

2:30pm: THE अहिंसा नाद CONCERT
LIVE MUSIC AND THEATRE
written, designed & directed by Suranya Aiyar for Bhagyam Arts & Ideas
