Event Description: Kushok Bakula: The Extraordinary life of an extraordinary monk.

Screening of documentary film by Dr. Hindol Sengupta, Professor at O.P .Jindal Global University on Kushok Bakula Rinpoche, the late renowned Buddhist monk

Chief Guest: H.E. Mr. Ganbold Dambajav, Ambassador of Mongolia to India

Guest of Honour: Abhijit Halder, Director General, International Buddhist Confederation

This special documentary is all about the life of Kushok Bakula Rinpoche, a Buddhist monk and diplomat who made a big impact in Ladakh. He also served as India's ambassador to Mongolia for ten years, where he helped bring back Buddha Dhamma after Communism ended.

Screening will be followed by a conversation between the filmmaker and Dr Sonam Wangchuk
