As part of our monthly Cine Club, Alliance Française de Delhi is delighted to present Arthur Rambo, a compelling and timely film by acclaimed French director Laurent Cantet (The Class, Time Out).

Synopsis

“I am sharp and wise. I know poetry and politics. I rose from the social margins to become a provocative literary voice in Paris. I published a novel, but I also write in 140 characters on social media. And when I do, I hit my target. That’s why they all want me out!”

Arthur Rambo follows the rise and fall of Karim D., a brilliant young writer whose double life—one as a celebrated author, the other as an anonymous, incendiary voice online—comes crashing into public view. This gripping drama explores the collision of personal history, digital identity, cancel culture, and the cost of fame in the age of social media.
