Event Description: Dr. Arshia Sattar, renowned scholar of Indian literature and mythology, celebrated for her translations and original works, will deliver Vidhi’s Annual Lecture on Ramayana, Dharma, and the Rule of Law. Dr. Sattar holds a PhD in South Asian Languages and Civilizations from the University of Chicago and teaches Classical Indian Literature at various Indian institutions.

She is the founder and director of Sangam House writers’ residency. Her book, Mahabharata for Children, won the Sahitya Akademi Prize for Children’s Literature in 2022.

Musical Performance
The evening will begin with a soulful performance by Naya Savera, a band of four former inmates from Udaipur Jail who are rebuilding their lives through music. They are now pursuing their dreams of becoming professional musicians in diverse genres from Sufi and folk-fusion to Kabir and Bollywood
