Soulful golden memories of legendary playback singer Manna Dey
Co-singer Baani
Co-singer Raahini Anil Sambhor is a follower of Manna Dey. He has been performing before large audiences for over last four decades. His melodious and effective renderings of songs take the audience to the by-lanes of golden period of our Hindi film music. He closely follows Manna Dey's nuances to give proper touch and feel to each song. He is awarded by renowned music organization "SAKHA" for his dedication towards Manna Dey over last four decades. Delhi Doordarshan also recorded three episodes of Anil's songs originally sung by Manna Dey in programme titled "Sureeli Yaadey". His voice by nature has a striking resemblance with the legendary singer Manna Dey. The present event will highlight Manna Dey's musical achievements in bollywood industry where Anil will render semi-classical, devotional, light & folk, humourous, romantic duets of Manna Dey.
Baani has completed Sangeet Visharad. She is M.A (Music). She has come out with her album and also performed in Punjabi movie and TV several times.
Raahini is a student. She is a versatile ghazal singer, who has performed in various music concerts.
