Event Description:
Multirealm of Expression, an exhibition of drawing, painting and mix media by Saswati Chaudhuri

About the show:
‘Multi Realm of Expression’ showcases Saswati's three series of works that are oil/acrylic on canvas, drawings and mix-media under three sections Conscious, Spontaneous and Coalescence. Saswati believes in humanity. Her humanist thought takes a woman as human with her aspirations and dreams, full of life where gender is not important. Her drawings are spontaneous and free-flow as she enjoys pen-and-ink medium, experimenting with colour wash and other treatments making them aesthetically rich. The mixed-media works come from her observation. Her sensitive mind and soul are affected by the conflicting situation in society due to various events happening around us, that we see in the news and current affairs. She tries to document her time and feelings as an artist in semi-abstract visual representation.
