He founded the Trust in 1991. Since its inception, the Trust has tirelessly carried out his vision by promoting both studio ceramics and supporting traditional terracotta artists.
As a tribute to its founder the Trust is organizing a ten-day exhibition of ceramics titled ‘One Pot’. Each artist will present one pot.
Gurcharan Singh’s philosophy of the beauty of a simple pot, will be presented by forty- three ceramic artists from across India. They, in turn, will be bringing to the viewer an exceptional mix of ceramic techniques highlighting their one pot.
