Event Description: Alliance Française de Delhi cordially invites you for an incredible theatre and dance performance adapted from Memoirs of Slave by Frederick Douglass.

A show by the BaroDa company and the Culture en Partage network (Mali).

This performance piece, produced by The BaroDda Company features Modibu Konaté (Mali) in a solo performance. Adapted from the book “Memoirs of a Slave, Frederick Douglass“, Konaté’s performance will depict the childhood and adolescence of Douglass, an American born into slavery in the 19th century, and the journey that led him to reconstruct his denied humanity.
