Event Description: The Nature Within, solo exhibition of paintings by Dr. D.S. Chougale

The objective of this artwork is to raise the observer's mood. The therapeutic value of art and music a person encounters is supplemented by psychotherapy. The visual representations that the artist has created on the canvas, are the culmination of deep-rooted undercurrent experiences. His work emotes a magical aspect.

These are the sentiments being expressed by the creator.

The consequence of the artist's choices of colour & hues, and the subtleties of his brushstrokes as he plays on the canvas; is a reflection of the artist's artistic prowess and inner vision. It wouldn't be overstating things to claim that art also has a nostalgic feel. It is both a magical and mystical experience for the audience and the artist. These art pieces demonstrate an imaginative use of various colours and deft use of canvas manipulation. The joys and majestic beauty of these works of art eliminate the viewer's unpleasant emotions and lead them into a new spiritual state of being. Hence, Dr. D.S. Chougale's interests in theatre and literature culminated in these works of art.
