Event Description:
The Creative Concourse,
An International Art Exhibition.

Empowerment actively advocates using art and culture as a tool for social change and emancipation, for the creation of a sensitive and peaceful world. It believes art and culture play an important role in the development agenda of any nation. Visual arts and crafts are images of our culture that are both visible as well as tangible. Our art, traditional crafts, and culture are more prone to deterioration due to development and lack of awareness among the younger generations about the value of these traditions.
The Project Cultural Diversity is an annual program of Empowerment which aims to explore the cultural relations of different nations through Visual Arts. This year we are unveiling the enriching artworks of Malaysia, Thailand, Sri Lanka,Guatemala, Costa Rica and India. The exhibition is a cornucopia of exquisitely compelling paintings of renowned artists, The Chorotega Pottery from Costa Rica, the famous Kites of Guatemala and the enigmatic sculpture of India which aptly describe their heritage in a sui generis manner.

The artists from participating nations are:

Each year Empowerment organizes Project Cultural Diversity in an attempt to realize Empowerment’s aim of working towards creating a peaceful and sensitive world. This year we have collaborated with Treasure Art Gallery which lays down a cultural platform to both modern and contemporary Indian Art. The Creative Concourse will be a consternation to the artists around the world as well as a delight to the public.

Organized by: Empowerment in association with the Treasure Art Gallery

Treasure Art Gallery - Located in the heart of New Delhi at  Defence colony, TAG lays down a cultural platform dedicated to both modern and contemporary Indian art. We aim to create an interactive dialogue around art, connecting artists with art enthusiasts, collectors, and buyers. We also extend to support seminars, workshops, lectures, discussions, and talk sessions to invoke conversations around art. Through a panoramic widescreen display (96 x 144 inches) outside the gallery, we aim to prompt art ideas and knowledge amongst the public.

TAG’s founder- director Tina Chandroji is an academy-trained artist who is an alumni of J.J.School of Art, Mumbai. Chandroji has more than 20 years of experience in the Indian Art and Culture scene. Her expertise and vision is the driving force behind the gallery’s growth. An art gallerist and entrepreneur, Chandroji’s  knowledge and extensive network have placed TAG at the forefront of the contemporary Indian art scene.

We truly value and appreciate different art forms and promote diversity of mediums. The process of a careful selection of artworks and exhibiting them with splendour is of utmost importance to us.

The gallery space is expansive and stretches to two floors. The ground floor expands to 1900 sq ft. and the basement opens up to 2100 sq ft wide space.
