Event Description: Ustad F. Wasifuddin Dagar will for the first time sing and make his calligraphic drawings at the same time.

Dhrupad is the measure of silence in sound. Sa is the one constant in the world of raga music. Sa, shadja, that which gives birth to six. All ragas, whether labelled folk or classical, whatever name or form they bear, need Sa, the primary note, the beginning of all music. Dhrupad is the lifelong pursuit of Sa. All that comes from it goes back to it.
