Amit Dutta has become a kind of emissary from one medium to another - a landscape painter who happens to work with a camera rather than a brush. He seems to be striving for the same goal as Balzac's artist in "The Unknown Masterpiece": an effacement of the distinction between reality and representation, a work in which the air is so real you can no longer distinguish it from the air around yourselves' - CINEMASCOPE
