Event Description: Rendition of Musical Compositions

A rendition of musical compositions from one of Girish Karnad's most celebrated play Hayavadana. Play involves a plot within a plot that merge at a point. Hayavadana is a creature with a man’s body and a horse’s head, the offspring of a deity in the form of a horse and a woman; Hayavadana yearns for perfection as a human. Padmini is caught in a triangle with two men who are best friends: Devdutt, a man of intellect and Kapil, a man of muscle. In a similar fashion, these three also yearns for fulfillment
