Event Description: "New voices in Spanish Literature: Castilla y León", with the writers Alejandro Cuevas and Ana Isabel Conejo.
Miguel Delibes is one of the most relevant Spanish novelists of the second half of the 20th century. Author of classic novels such as 'Los Santos inocentes', 'El hereje' or 'Cinco horas con Mario', Delibes would have turned hundred years old in 2020. From Instituto Cervantes of New Delhi, in collaboration with the Fundación Miguel Delibes, the Junta de Castilla y León, Casa de la India and AC/E, we want to celebrate this important date for Spanish and universal literature with a series of conferences and meetings at the IC and in the city's universities.
4 p.m. - "New voices in Spanish Literature: Castilla y León", with the writers Alejandro Cuevas and Ana Isabel Conejo.

Round table conference with Elisa Delibes (Miguel Delibes daughter), Fernando Zamácola (Director of Fundación Miguel Delibes), José Ramón González (Director of Culture Policies of Junta de Castilla y León and Literature Professor at Universidad de Valladolid).
- Didactic concert by Germán Díaz (saxo, hurdy-gurdy) and reading of extracts of Miguel Delibes Novels by Ana Isabel Conejo and Alejandro Cuevas.
