Event Description: FILM - Mouthpiece in English

The film is a brilliant adaptation of the award-winning stage play by the same name. Cassandra, who is portrayed by the two women, expresses the opposing voices that exist inside the modern woman's head, during a 48-hour period as she tries to organize the affairs for her mother's funeral. The film digs deeply and personally into the roles women play and how societal expectations can muddy up their individual desires. This profound loss forces Cassandra to understand and respect the choices her mother made – giving up her job and dreams to raise two kids on her own.
