Event Description: Darakht presents Mix Veg in Hot Garlic Sauce, Hinglish Comedy Play

"Mix Veg in Hot Garlic Sauce" is a Broadway classic. It is a comedy created by situations as well as the characters, who are a bunch of happy carefree individuals. The story is set in a village 'Akalpur' where the residents have traits that are foolish. They believe that due to a historic curse on their village, all of them will stay unintelligent until someone falls in love, removing 'the curse' on the village. All the village residents have foolish traits, although they live in the present, without any concern for the past and future. The story unfolds when an outsider, a teacher, comes to 'Akalpur' and experiences the unique situations and personalities in 'Akalpur'. Is he able to make the villagers learn anything, or he unlearns what he knows? Does 'Akalpur' get its lovers and gets free of the curse? The play climaxes on these questions, leaving some questions answered and some others originate.
