Event Description: The Apu Trilogy
Organised to mark the birth centenary of Karuna Banerjee, noted Bengali actress who started her career with Satyajit Ray’s Pather Panchali, screening of Ray’s seminal trilogy. Presented in collaboration with National Film Archive of India, Pune, screening of digitally re-mastered version of The Apu Trilogy.
The films will be introduced by Samik Bandyopadhyay, well-known film scholar and editor
