Event Description: DANCE: Unbound Beats of India - Celebration of the rhythm of Dance, by Utsav Educational and Cultural Society.

The festival aims at providing a national platform for the young artists who are making their mark in the field of classical dance, whereby they celebrate India’s rich cultural traditions and heritage through their creative expressions.

Unbound Beats of India will present 5 different classical dance styles namely Odissi, Kathak, Mohinyattam, Kuchipudi and Bharatnatyam. The artists performing in the festival are Vinod Bachanand Ankita Bakshi, disciples of Guru Ranjana Gauhar, Vani Bhalla Pahwa (Mohiniyattam), disciple of Guru Baharati Shivaji, Mohit Sridhar (Kathak), Disciple of Guru Rajendra Ganagani, Ayana Muhkerjee(Kuchipudi) disciple of Gurus Jayarama Rao and Vanashree Rao, Chitra Dalvi Vartak (Bharatnatyam)Disciple of Guru Sandhya Purecha and Diksha Rawat (Kathak) disciple of Guru Uma Dogra. UnboundBeats of India allows the performers to unleash the brilliance of their Guru’s training and merge with the philosophy and objective, which the Guru has set for them in the art of dance and life.

Unbound Beats of India, which was first initiated in 2007, now features significantly as one of the prominent events of the Capital.
