Event Description: Dharana, Solo Show of Paintings by Sujata Agrawal
The topic of my exhibition is 'Dharana' which represents mediation and yoga mudras in today's world.
Dharana is about fixing the mind to one specific point. This could be something internal, like part of the body or chakra, or something external like a picture, statue or another object. It's not so important what this object is that we are focusing on; the purpose is to quiet the mind with this total concentration.
All the shades of the paintings are truly inspired by nature and give the essence of spirituality. My paintings depict different sentiments of human beings and the power of yoga.
