Inaugural lecture to be delivered by Dr. Ashok Gulati, agricultural economist and Infosys Chair Professor for Agriculture, Indian Council for Research on International Economic Relations (ICRIER); and formerly Chairman of the Commission for Agricultural Costs and Prices (CACP)

First in a new series of monthly lectures and discussions on the Agrarian crisis in India today. Some of the issues that the series will address include problems afflicting the Agriculture sector; why Agriculture reforms have not succeeded; Agriculture and non-agriculture linkages; China’s agriculture model; politics of Agriculture; what happened to the second Green Revolution etc.
