Event Description : DANCE - Bhaavaanubhuti: Celebrating the many moods of love as created by the mystic poet Kshetrayya.
Bhaavaanubhuti is a celebration of expression (bhavam) steeped in classicism – a unique one-of- a-kind, soulful presentation featuring some of the finest exponents of Music & Dance. Several artistic minds collaborate in this production to present padams - poems written by Kshetrayya (17th Century Poet) which are known for their rich melodic and poetic import. Kshetrayya used love (shringara) as a vehicle for his mystic and transcendental communion with the Lord Muvvagopala. These rare padams depict human life in all its dimensions and speak of various moods of love and devotion through madhura-bhakti (divine love).
Choreographed and performed by Bharatanatyam dancer, Divya Devaguptapu.
Music: Dr. S. Sowmya.
Vocal: Savita Narasimhan
Violin: Ranjani Ramakrishnan.
Mridangam: Praveen Sparsh
Nattuvangam: Sudarshini Iyer
