10 Artists to Follow is an ensemble of the works of ten contemporary artists from South Asia, who have endeavored to unlock the meanings of life, existence and rhythms of nature, via their artistic practices. Through diverse mediums and forms ,these ten artists put together, broadens the scope of understanding the ongoing discourse of abstract art, prevalent in the subcontinent. Each artist has canvassed their respective cognizance of life, yet leaving space for the on-looker's interpretation, rationing a scope of harmonious co-existence. Coming from varied professional backgrounds each artist reflects in their works and their process of evolving individual aesthetics, through different forms and medium.Rejecting objective or sociology-political depiction through art, each artist has interpreted nature and portrayed their realisation of life, by appropriating the underlying rhythms of the universe. Cutting across time, their works display an array of forms morphed through the material and the immaterial, the living and the non-living, the real and the ephemeral, the structural and the spacial.
