Event Description : Chimera - 2, Solo Exhibition of Paintings by Mahua Sinha paying tribute to her father Late Sri Bimalendu Sarkar
Alongside the exhibition, there would be a Tarot Card reading session too, on 12th to 16th Oct between 1 pm to 5 pm.
About the Artist : I don't set out to produce art about one subject or another. Some of my subject matter is about Nature and Heritage. My influences are first foremost everything I see, feel and experience. I dream my painting and I paint my dreams. The only time I feel alive is when I'm painting. I try to paint the spirit and soul of what I imagine.
I do every form of Art and all of Media, like water color, oil painting, acrylic, charcoal, sketches, shading, pastels, madhubani, etc.
I've done over 40 exhibitions including a few solo exhibitions. I've also participated in many events and workshops throughout India. I've been honored with a lot of awards.
