Artistagram is an initiative of UCHAAN an art institution that has established itself as a nurturing ground for art and artists. This would be the 3rd Annual event of Uchaan of such a magnitude, which will showcase the works and creations of many visual artistes including painters, sculptors, photographers and graphic artistes.

As the name suggests  Artistagram is a, folder of art wherein a variety of art work is assembled, coming from a range of artists who work on different mediums. No two artists are alike. Some show their creativity with line and dimensions while others play with hues  similarly some artists make innovation with perception.  At times the artists find inspiration in human beings at other times in nature or surroundings. There are others who completely depend on their imagination that vary from galaxy to God, experimenting with traditional and modern art concepts and tools. The curator in this exhibition puts to display these master pieces in a carefully crafted array so as to bring in completeness as if describing a story a flow of art depicting an array of all human emotions one may find in a small habitation. The thoughts of old and young the hope of future the memories of the past. The words of yesterday and the coming tomorrow from the eyes of the artists.

Artistagram brings to you a bouquet of artists from a vast variety wherein we have Amit Srivastava an IIT-Delhi alumnus pursuing Art full-time out of sheer passion. His work is a synthesis of keen, careful observation and classical painting techniques, stemming from his belief that when you pay enough attention to something, it opens up to you. Figurative works are his forte and he likes to experiment with his style as he moves on to becoming more narrative in his artwork.

The exhibition is showcasing contemporary Indian artists who are experimenting with new art forms in their own way. Some of them have expressed their thoughts in abstract forms and some are directly inspired by nature and real world. The source of thought process may be anything but significant forms created by the artists on their canvas in meaningful manner results in a magnum opus and makes a collection worthy to be presented in a show for appreciation and right kind of staging.

Participating artists Anita Malik, Ritu Kwatra, Prasanta Khatua, Sunita Aggarwal, Smita Jain, Amit Srivastava, Preeti Kodesia, Alisha Thakur, Arushi Gulati, Gouri Seth, Babita Katotch, Pooja Aggarwal, Soumik Nag, Deepak Bajaj,  Akshay Verma, Zakir Hussain Tanha, Karuna, Bharti Arya, Satvik Sharma, Dr. Shahed Pasha, Sanjay Chakraborty, Nawal Kishore, Swagatika Mohanty, Shubhra Jain, Rakesh Chaudhary, Suddha R Sama, Dr. Vandana Malhotra and Baalmiki Bhattachaya will be featured, beautifully curated by Jyoti Kalra.  The collection comprises colorful representations of thoughts in varied taste and expression that will attract the viewers for a visual delight

About Artist Art work

Soumick Nag- Typography-   In a mechanical world where we are surrendered to the idea of standardisation these two paintings are the metaphor of our forbidden culture and roots. An attempt to reimagining our cultural assets .

Anita Malik -Through my paintings I want to express the true beauty of nature. I want to depict the calm and the peace at the sea, the beauty of trees when they blossom and how nature gets ready in colors.

Amit Srivastava's work is a portarit of a lady who is totally subdued in deep thought. The viewer is left free to see self in the picture, where in a mother would find her thinking about the child, a lover about her love distant apart or a daughter looking to meet her parents. So many emotions in one frame.

Arunima  Shrivastva- Lord Ganesha- This painting depicts Lord Ganesha in his most resplendent form. This painting is inspired by the carved, wooden sculpture of Lord Ganesha found in the southern region of India. Rich and earthy tones impart a very warm and grand feeling to this piece of art.

Gouri seth -  "Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower"

Pooja Aggarwal- 3 D paintings create an optical illusion where parts of the picture which seem the farthest away are actually physically the closest to the viewer.

Deepak Bajaj- In his paintings, you will find his  experimenting with this magical romance with the 'Creator', Universe.

His  artwork represents the wonders and intensity of life, a unique presence of rythm in itself, it gives the image a complex, multi-layered presence, making each pattern a physically compelling self-sustained environment.

Rakesh Kumar Chaudhary-According to the title ‘Origin of New world’-   He is trying to symbolize introducing machine in  world. A person below the poverty Line finds it difficult to survive. Cast system and unequal distribution of income and resources is another reason not healthy food, not fresh air and many health problem happen in our world.

Akshay  Verma -  Overthinker -  In this painting,  He is trying to express the behavior of an overthinker. How he sees the world and keeps imagining that everyone who indulges in conversations with him is upto some conspiracy

Sunita  Aggarwal -Doors of perceptions  - "You are what resides before, beyond and in between what you think. So do not be consumed by thoughts, it's only a fragment of your magic"

Shahed Pasha - By creatively imagining tradition and mythological themes, His painting demonstrates how life extends beyond its own subjective limits. Further his  painting represents the continuous challenge between the self and the world, the primordial and the modern, thereby bringing out contemporary values and realization. Historical, social and mythological aspects are centralized in his compositions. Despite being infused by original and radical ideas, the characters in his paintings continue to broadcast traditional values and true messages, attempting to strengthen the spiritual and moral character of the viewer.

Shubhra jain- Ying Yang -  Theme of my paintings is, in Japan paper cranes are symbol of love, faith and peace. If you fold 1000 paper cranes all your wishes will come true. Thus, the cluster of perfect balance of blessings and actions, granted by faith (represented here as graphic crane). When we truly wish for something and take our actions (repesented by dots) based on our faith all our wishes come true.

Bharati Arya- Rhythm...for the continues rhythm in life dance all way round.... This work greatly inspired from the Indian classical dance form Kathaka

Balmiki Bhattacharyya- The Sounds of Silence.... Silence, the language of the taciturn, the irrefutable argument of the speechless, the friend of the tranquil and the strength of the calm. Silence, the blessed art of conversations with self. Get in touch with the silence within yourself to learn that every silence conveys a meaning, every silence talks and every silence sounds the bell of expression. Listen to silence, it says a lot.

Ritu Kwatra - Ocean of sorrow - Mother of earth n mother of birth both are suffers own children

Prasanta Khatua- In my art, I like to capture the beauty in mundane objects and places..Different mediums allow me to Express different ideas...

Dr. karunaa Paal Gupta- Karma Yogi -We are all caged into our karmas which is a divine truth. Wheel of time  - This painting represents that nothing in this world is static. Every beginning has an end.

Poonam Saini- The Journey- Life isn't the same every time and that's the beauty of it. Sometimes u get devastated and frustrated but always hope for the beat and the best will come to u. Keep  your spirits high and keep moving 'coz life is a journey.

Always hope for the best and the best will.......

Satvik Sharma -With sparkling eyes and a cheerful smile the prodigy of colours Satvik Sharma all of 14 is a bundle of energy. His art work is far from child's play Uchaan Art Gallery has already sold a number of paintings including one at the India Art Fair Mumbai 2018. His vibrant riot of colours in his abstract works shows a lot of depth. The story began when at the age of ten he was introduced to water colours. An otherwise inattentive child suddenly started to focus and how effortlessly he painted his imagination using both hands with multiple brushes at times is an amazement in itself. This school going teenager has more exhibitions in his bag then his age in years and received a State award by Govt of Delhi as exceptional achiever as creative person 2018 Undoubtedly this non verbal artist speaks volumes via, his paintings

Satvik Sharma - His, art work are his imagination depicted on canvas. A true root of vibrant colors showing vivid emotions .
