Event Description : ART EXHIBITION : Art for Odisha 2019
Cyclone FANI has devastated the beautiful Eastern costal state Odisha . But the spirited artists community put up an exhibition ART FOR ODISHA 2019 . This mega show will also be extended to Mumbai and Bangalore .
Mataspace Studio , Delhi is organising this exhibition in collaboration with All India Arts And Crafts Society ( AIFACS ) . This is the brain child of the Founder Director of Metaspace Studio, Shri Biswajit Panda who is an artist and curator of this mega show .
Shri Sarangi congratulated the noble effort . He said in his speech that neither only science of education nor art of education but both science and art of education help a society to grow . He highlighted about the rich art and culture that was there in the state Odisha and at the same time said that a lot has to be done in the field of art in the state .
Famous artist Padma Bhushan Shri Jatin Das said that the artists community should stay united and come forward to help the society whenever required . He also appealed to the audience and art lovers to be instrumental in buying art so the fund can reach Odisha Chief Minister's Relief Fund .
The Director General of National Gallery Of Modern Art , Shri Adwaita Gadanayak congratulated the organisers and emphasised that the artists besides their profession should extend their helping hands whenever the situation demands .
Padma Bhushan Ram V Sugar expressed his good wishes to the organisers . Padma Shrimp Biman Bihari Das , Chairman AIFACS was proud to be a collaborator of the mega show and said he and his Society is always ready to actively participate in a good cause .
Shri Sanjeev Mishra , the Resident Commissioner Of Odisha was all praise for the philanthropic concept of donation by sale of works of art by participating Indian artists to Odisha Chief Minister's Relief Fund . He assured smooth execution of it .
The curator of the exhibition Shri Biswajit Panda expressed his thanks to the collaborator AIFACS and the partners Art Floor , Consortium Gifts , Pathfinders , Indian Creative Minds , Art And Deal , IPCA and JJ School of Art . He requested the audience and art lovers to help in buying art for a good cause .
At the end there was a beautiful Odissi group dance performance , which was enjoyed by all.
