Event Description : ART EXHIBITION "Colours of the Himalayas" solo show of paintings by Shabnam Anand Singh

Shabnam Anand Singh is an artist and designer practising since 1978.

Currently based in Dehra Dun, where she grew up, she has spent most of her working life in the United Kingdom from where she has exhibited her work in several places from London to New York and Singapore; and the Indian cities of Delhi and Bombay. Her work has found place in many private collections, from senior business executives to commissions from prestigious hotel groups in Hong Kong and Singapore. 

Favouring the theme of flowers she uses watercolour and acrylic as her preferred medium for painting. "Flowers are the most expressive means in any language, the world over. They say everything without saying anything, their grace and fragility have always held special appeal for me."
