Conversations with India's Margins.
Placed in India’s informal economy, a large number of workers are on the move from one place to another in search of work. They work in precarious work environments without a permanent foothold in the economy or in the cities and remain invisible in public policies. Workers share their tales of survival and struggle as part of the panel. The panel will be preceded by a film on circular migration that captures the everyday life of a migrant worker from Bihar.
