So, as the cliché goes, beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. Meaning thereby that the idea of beauty for one may be meaningless for another. So conception and perception of beauty is a ‘Standard of Taste’. Beauty is bought by the Judgment of Eye, which, in turn, going deeper, is understood by the Mind, touched by the Heart. Weighed by the connoisseurship. And finally, effusion of all these elements brings discernment of beauty. Our sense of beauty mutates in its subtlety depending on the extent our appreciation approaches its perfection.
Art is not created for beauty per se; rather beauty is a touchstone for testing the perfection of an art. The very purpose of any art is to create a sense of wonderment. Therefore the expression of an art encompasses all that is beatific, poignant and enigmatic. A true artist does not need vacuous words to enthrall. He embellishes his ‘expression’ with simulators and markers. In turn, the innate talent of the artist bathes his ultimate creation. In the process, a joyful universe of aesthetics comes to its fruition.
