Event Description : Alliance Française de Delhi - Gurgaon Centre presents "Daksha" a Dance Performance, by Marie Pezelet. 

Continuing with the series of events on “Engaging with Inequalities" 

In this solo, Marie explores the ephemeral boundries between binaries: Alter/ Ego; Tradition/ Modernity; Cultures … in her choreography she blends Indian traditional dance Bharatanatyam with Kalaripayat, an ancient martial art form, from Kerala, and contemporary Japanese dance Butoh.

In “SANGAMAM” she collaborates with Pt. Ghanshyam Sisodia on the Sarangi and Subhasis Sabyasachi Ghosh on the Pakhawaj.
